Michael Bublé creates ARIA Albums chart history by reaching the top for the third consecutive year with his now deluxe re-packaged (with four bonus tracks) album “Christmas”.

On December 5th in 2011, the album started a five week run at the top, then from the 10th of December in 2012, the album returned to the top for a further four weeks, and now for the third year in a row, “Christmas” by Michael Bublé returns to the top for a tenth non-consecutive week. The return also pushes Michael’s No.1 tally up to 28 weeks, moving him up to No.12 on the list of ‘Most Accumulated Weeks at No.1: Albums (1965-2013)’, moving him ahead of Skyhooks and their 27 weeks, and putting him two weeks behind Michael Jackson’s tally of 30 weeks.

Last weeks top spot debut of the self-titled album for Taylor Henderson is down a place to No.2, picking up a Gold (●) certification this week too. The prior No.1 album to Taylor, One Direction with “Midnight Memories” is down a place to No.3, with the album achieving 2x▲ Platinum in sales, whilst moving up a place to a new peak of No.4 is Human Nature with “The Christmas Album”, which picks up a ▲Platinum certification.
