Arrested Development will mark the 25th anniversary of their iconic debut ‘3 Years, 5 Months & 2 Days In The Life Of…’ with shows in Sydney and Melbourne in November.
Arrested Development was formed in Atlanta in 1988 by Todd Thomas aka Speech and Timothy Barnwell ask Headliner. The name Arrested Development went to the courts in 2003 when Speech sued the creators of a new sitcom also called Arrested Development.
‘3 Years, 5 Months & 2 Days In The Life Of…’ was one of the catalysts in the acceleration of hip-hop. Arrested Development named the album after the time it took from when they formed to when they were signed to a record label. The case was settled out of court for an undisclosed sum.
‘3 Years, 5 Months & 2 Days In The Life Of…’ was a no 4 album in Australia and was declared Platinum. The album also generated three hits songs ‘Tennessee’, ‘People Everyday’ and ‘Mr Wendal’.
