Art Garfunkel says he feels like he is young again after losing his voice and cancelling shows last year.
Garfunkel recently told the New Haven Register that he’s thrilled to be performing again. “I feel like 26. I worked to get the voice back…I have been singing since I was five; it’s my best friend. I’m married to singing and its problems. The voice left me and now that it’s back, I am so grateful.”
Art has set a series of east coast U.S. dates for May through July before taking on a five-date tour of the U.K. in September. He is putting his newly recovered voice out front for the tours with only accompaniment by guitarist Tab Laven.
