Arts Centre Melbourne has brought together the best of jazz, opera and theatre for three nights of a new High Tea Live series.
Steve Sedergreen, Antoinette Halloran and Melissa Langton will expand on the previous program Jazz High Tea to deliver a widen selection to a bigger audience with the High Tea Live series on the first Sunday of every month from March through until December.

The Steve Sedergreen Band 4 March
Jazz-lovers have the opportunity to experience The Steve Sedergreen Band led by Melbourne Jazz musician Steve Sedergreen and featuring rising young vocal star Amelia Evans (winner, vocal scholarship James Morrison’s Generations in Jazz 2017). Audiences will have the opportunity to experience great tunes from Louis Armstrong & Ella Fitzgerald “‘deed I do, Love for Sale”, Billie Holliday “Don’t Explain”, Cole Porter “Just One of Those Things”, Nina Simone “I Wish I Knew How”.
Antoinette Halloran 8 April
Operatic soprano Antoinette Halloran and ready-made raconteur, Patrick Lawrence will spice up Arts Centre Melbourne’s High Tea Live in April. One of Australia’s most accomplished and best-loved sopranos, Antoinette Halloran performs regularly with all the major Australasian opera companies and symphony orchestras.
Melissa Langton – Swinging on Broadway 6 May
Musical theatre star Melissa Langton will present Swinging on Broadway. The performance will take audiences back to an era when the likes of Louis Armstrong, Peggy Lee, Tony Bennett, Julie London and Ol’ Blue Eyes regularly topped the charts with Broadway toe-tappers like “Hello Dolly”, “Mack the Knife”, “The Lady is A Tramp”, “Cabaret, I Get a Kick out of You”, “Almost Like Being in Love” and “Big Spender”.
