Australian blues guitarist Ash Grunwald will unveil his new signature guitar for Pratley Guitars at the Melbourne Guitar Show in August.
“I’m doing a collaboration with guitar maker Pratley and we are bringing out a signature guitar,” Ash Grunwald tells Noise11.com. “It’s a bit like a 335. It’s a bluesy looking thing. People can see the first prototype of it on my Instagram. Its looking pretty nice for a prototype but the next one is going to look much better and I will be unveiling that at the guitar show”.
Ash Grunwald will also break his hiatus with his first album in four years in September. “It’s called Mojo and its got Joe Bonamassa on it,” Ash says. “It was a honour and he played very tasty. I have The Tesky Brothers on that same track too. The Tesky Brothers are also on my next single ‘You Ain’t My Problem Anymore’. My first single ‘Whispering Voice’ where I play a Hendrix-like guitar, Kasey Chambers is singing on that”.
The Melbourne Guitar Show returns to Caulfield Racecourse of 3 and 4 August 2019. Get tickets here.
