The Audreys have completed work on their fourth studio album. ‘Til My Tears Roll Away’ will be released in March.
The Audreys are Taasha Coastes and Tristan Goodall.
The triple-ARIA award-winning band formed in Adelaide in 2004.
The Audrey’s first album ‘Between Last Night And Us’ earned them their first Gold record in 2006. The second album ‘When The Flood Comes’ (2008) peaked at no. 20 and 2010’s ‘Sometimes The Stars’ made it to no. 28 on the ARIA chart and earned them the ARIA Award for Best Blues and Roots album in 2011.
‘Til My Tears Roll Away’ was recorded at Mixmasters studio in Adelaide. The first single ‘My Darlin’ Girl’ will be released late January. “This track started as a sleazy guitar riff”, says Tristan. “It has a goofy prog-rock inspired key change that I’m happy to say is an Audreys first, and a general hard-rockin’, hard-drinkin’ vibe”.
The Audreys ‘Til My Tears Roll Away’ will be released March 14 through ABC Records.
