Aussie legends John Farnham, Brian Cadd and Russell Morris will all have new albums in 2019

Three Australian music legends John Farnham, Brian Cadd and Russell Morris will all release new albums during 2019.

Work on all three albums is currently underway. The three legends will all have their albums completed early new year and released in the first half of 2019.

Brian is 72, Russell 70 and John 69. Here are three artists who provide a template to younger acts as to how the music industry should be done. Their new releases will come more than 50 years after their first releases.

The three albums are all yet-to-be titled. Brian Cadd will be first with new music with his album scheduled for release on 28 January, 2019. The album was recorded in Nashville and Woodstock, USA and will be released through Robert Rigby’s Ambition Entertainment.

Russell Morris will be next through Liberation with a contemporary rock album following up his platinum selling Blues trilogy of Sharkmouth, Van Dieman’s and Red Dirt Red Heart. Russell has been recording his record with Bernard Fanning and Nick DiDia at Byron Bay.

Farnham’s album is underway in Melbourne under the guidance of Chong Lim. A release date is yet to be decided.

All three artists will tour Australia in early 2019.

Russell Morris and Brian Cadd will tour together starting January 24 in Ballina.

John Farnham will headline Red Hot Summer series three with Daryl Braithwaite, Jon Stevens, Vanessa Amorosi, Thirsty Merc and Dragon.
