Australian acts Tame Impala, Hiatus Kaiyote and Keith Urban has missed out of Grammy trophies at the 58th Annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.
Tame Impala ‘Currents’ was nominated for Best Alternative Music Album but lost to Alabama Shakes ‘Sound & Color’.
Hiatus Kaiyote was in for ‘Best R&B Performance’ for ‘Breathing Water’ but missed out to The Weeknd for ‘Earned It’ from Fifty Shades of Grey.
Keith Urban was nominated for ‘Best Country Solo Performance’ for ‘John Cougar John Deere John 3:16’ but Chris Stapleton ‘Traveller’ took the award.
Courtney Barnett is up for Best New Artist with James Bay, Sam Hunt, Tori Kelly and Meghan Trainor. The award is still to be announced.
