Canadian ethereal pop group Austra, Pitchfork faves Girls and South London producer SBTRKT announce sideshows.
With a Polaris Prize nomination for their debut Feel It Break, Austra have gained plaudits for their kaleidoscopic electro-pop, with the almost operatic vocals Katie Stelmanis. They play Melbourne’s Northcote Social Club on Feburary 2 and Sydney’s The Basement on February 6.
Californian indie favourite Girls scored a glowing review for their second album Father Son Holy Ghost on Pitchfork and bring their dreamy indie-pop to Australia for the second time, playing Sydney’s Oxford Arts Factory on February 3 and Melbourne’s Corner Hotel on February 8.
And finally, the white-hot DJ/producer SBTRKT from South London is on his way with vocalist Sampha to play the sophisticated dance music from his self-titled debut. They play Sydney’s Metro on February 3 and Melbourne’s Prince Of Wales on February 9.
Tickets can be purchased from the venues and Handsome Tours. And check out some sounds below.
