Australian acts will once again take over Austin, Texas on March 16 for one of SXSW’s hottest events, The Aussie BBQ.
Aussie BBQ at SXSW
This year will be the 11th year Stage Mothers have been putting on the Aussie BBQ at SXSW.
The event, now a joint effort with Sounds Australia, will kick off at midday at Maggie Mae’s in Sixth St, Austin.
The Aussie BBQ will features Australian acts performing across 3 stages for 14 hours with a traditional and free Aussie Barbie for SXSW delegates.
The event is open to SXSW badge and wristband holders.
Australia has 42 official SXSW showcasing artists and over 500 delegates heading to Austin this year. The line-up for the Aussie BBQ will be announced in the middle of February.
