Drake lands a third week at No.1 in Australia (as well as in New Zealand, England, America and Canada) with his fourth chart-topping song here “In My Feelings”.
By staying another week at the top Drake now has amassed 23 weeks at No.1 placing him equal third on the list for ‘Accumulated Weeks at No.1: Singles; 2010’s’ alongside his former girlfriend Rihanna who has also racked up 23 weeks at the top during this decade (but from 7 No.1’s), while in the overall listing of accumulated weeks at No.1 (1940 to 2018) he is now equal with John Farnham’s 23 weeks (also from 4 #1’s, but over three decades instead of Drake’s three years).
Dean Lewis climbs to a new peak of No.2 with his five week old track “Be Alright”, which is newly certified Gold (●) in sales, and Drake has also been out for five weeks and yet to be certified, while the two Aussie acts within the Top 3 again this week, as Dean and 5 Seconds of Summer swap places with the four piece band’s former No.1 “Youngblood” down one spot to No.3, and former runner-up “Girls Like You” for Maroon 5 and Cardi B is on hold at No.4 this week.
There are three new entries to the Top 10 this week, the first is a three week old entry for first timer Benny Blanco with Halsey & Khalid entitled “Eastside”, which is up seven places to a new peak of No.5, becoming the first Top 10 entry for Benny, the third for Halsey (all as guest vocalist) and now the sixth for Khalid (two as a solo act and four as a guest vocalist). This week last year DJ Khaled was leaving the Top 10 with his first major hit “I’m the One” (HP-1×2, May 2017) which featured guests Justin Bieber, Quavo and Chance the Rapper and now all four acts are back together and they debut at No.6 with this weeks highest entry “No Brainer”, becoming the third Top 10 for DJ Khaled and the 15th for Justin Bieber.
After two weeks at her entry position of No.5 the Ariana Grande track “God is a Woman” is down two places to No.7, while the third Top 10 entry of the week zooms up forty-four spots from last weeks No.52 entry to land at No.8 this week, rapper 6ix9ine with Nicki Minaj and Murda Beatz on “Fefe” becoming the first Top 10 for both 69 and Murda, while it’s the twelfth for Nicki. Down three places each are “Better Now” for Post Malone and “Healing Hands” for Conrad Sewell to No.9 and No.10 respectively.
UP:
* Jones Blue scores a Gold (●) sales certification and climbs five places to a new peak of No.11 with “Rise”.
* Tiesto with Post Malone is on hold at No.13 for a second week with “Jackie Chan”.
* The new remixes for “Fire”/”Reprisal” (HP-12) for Peking Duk are back up three spots to No.14.
* Kygo scores his fourth Top 20 hit as “Born to Be Yours” is up four spots to No.20 and now Gold (●) in sales plus it also becomes sixth Top 20 for Imagine Dragons.
* After three weeks at No.26 the Jess Glynne track “I’ll Be There” rises three spots to a new peak of No.23.
* Panic! at the Disco continue to rise with “High Hopes”, up six places this week to a new height of No.24.
* The Rubens break into the lower end of the Top 30 with “Never Ever”, up two spots to No.30 and newly crowned Gold (●) in sales.
* Another of last weeks lower fifty entries jumps into the Top 40, as “Happy Now” for Zedd and Elley Duke leaps thirty-three places to land at No.31.
* The current Irish chart-topping song for George Ezra (6th wk there) in “Shotgun” bullets up thirty-two places this week to land at the target of No.37, becoming his third Top 40 hit in Australia.
* Bebe Rexha is up three spots to a new peak of No.45 with “I’m a Mess”.
* After falling from No.48 to No.73 last week The Hilltop Hoods track “Clark Griswold” jumps back up twenty one spots to land this week at No.52.
* Loud Luxury climbs again this week with “Body”, sliding up eleven spots to No.63.
* The debut entry for Dean Lewis and “Waves” is back up nine places this week to No.70.
* The first of two returning tracks this week is “Sober” for Demi Lovato at No.75 followed by “Younger” for Ruel at No.92.
* Back up six places to No.76 is “Feel it Still” by Portugal.The Man, which will crack the year-long mark on next weeks chart.
DOWN:
* Last weeks two returning tracks to the Top 10 leave again this week in “Lucid Dreams” by Juice WRLD (HP-8, WI10-2a), which is down three places to No.12 and “Nevermind” (HP-10×2, WI10-2) for Dennis Lloyd, this week it falls down seven spots to No.17, while also leaving is “2002” for Anne-Marie (HP-4, WI10-8), which is down seven places to No.15.
* The Clean Bandit and Demi Lovato track “Solo” falls five spots to No.16.
* There are five drops for Khalid infused tracks this week in “Ocean” alongside Martin Garrix (14 to 18), “Lovely” with Billie Eilish (20 to 21, now ▲Platinum), “OTW” with Ty Dolla $ign and 6lack (29 to 43), “Love Lies” with Normani (40 to 44) and “Young, Dumb & Broke” (90 to 95).
* Amy Shark falls ten places to No.25 with her recent Top 10 song “I Said Hi”.
* All three entries by the recently passed rapper XXXTentaction are down only a little bit this week in “Sad!” (25 to 27), “Jocelyn Flores” (42 to 46) and “Changes” (44 to 48).
* The Calvin Harris and Dua Lipa track “One Kiss” drops seven spots to No.28.
* Drake moves down with the tracks “Nice for What” (27 to 29), “Don’t Matter to Me” (18 to 32), “God’s Plan” (31 to 34), “Nonstop” (33 to 38) and “I’m Upset” (53 to 67).
* Ed Sheeran drops four places apiece with “Perfect” (37 to 41) and “Shape of You” (47 to 51, and this is again the ‘Longest Charted Single’ at 82 weeks), while “Happier” is down one spots to No.55.
* Post Malone has three older tracks falling in “Psycho” (39 to 42), “Rockstar” (46 to 50) and “I Fall Apart” (56 to 57).
* Childish Gambino drops fifteen places to No.49 with his recent three week old entry “Summertime Magic”, while his thirteen week track and former No.1 “This is America” is down only one spot to No.72.
* With a new entry for David Guetta, his older track with Sia and “Flames” dies down ten chart-coals to No.53.
* Last weeks rises for Shawn Mendes are all down this week in “Nervous” (51 to 56), “In My Blood” (49 to 58), “There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back” (81 to 99) and “Youth” (93 to 100), with last weeks returning song “Like to Be You” leaving from No.98.
* Billie Eilish and her two recent entries are both down, with last weeks newbie “You Should See Me in a Crown” down five to No.71 and three week old entry “Ocean Eyes” falling seventeen spots to No.77 and newly certified Gold (●) in sales (even though it has only peaked at No.58, it was originally released in November of 2016).
* Also down because of a new entry are The Chainsmokers with Drew Love and “Somebody”, falling twenty spots to No.81.
* The Carters slip down twenty-two spots to No.84 with their track “Apeshit”.
* Kayne West drops down twenty-six places to No.84 with “All Mine”.
* Last weeks debut for Imagine Dragons and “Natural” falls back down thirty-six spots to No.91.

* #61 – Side Effects by The Chainsmokers feat Emily Warren is the US dance duo teaming up with US singer and songwriter Emily Warren who appeared on the late 2016 track “Capsize” with Frenship (HP-17, peaked Dec 2016 and Jan 2017), and becomes the 14th Top 100 entry for for The Chainsmokers.
* #79 – Don’t Leave Me Alone by David Guetta feat Anne-Marie is the fourth song for Guetta from an upcoming seventh studio album after “Like I Do” (HP-73), “Flames” with Sia (HP-19, TW-53) and “Your Love” with Showtek (not charted), and now his 43rd Top 100 entry since his first in 2006, while it’s the 13th entry overall for Anne-Marie (6 as lead, seven as guest vocalist).
* #93 – Let Me Down Slowly by Alec Benjamin is the first entry for the Phoenix, Arizona 24 year old singer songwriter who released his first material five years ago at the age of 19.
