Australian company Global Creatures will have five shows in production around the world in 2018.

This year Global Creatures will be found in Sydney, London, Boston and New York with ‘Walking With Dinosaurs’ also heading out in a UK tour in July.

Global Creatures specialises in aminatronic creations. ‘Walking With Dinosaurs’ launched the company in January 2007. The show has toured all over the planet including North America from 2007 to 2010, Europe in 2010, North America again in 2011 as well as New Zealand, Germany, UK, Ireland, Norway, Denmark, The Netherlands and Finland.

In 2018 Global Creatures will debut the live adaptation of Moulin Rouge. Carmen Pavlovic said, “Baz Luhrmann and Catherine Martin are so special to Global Creatures and I’m thrilled that we have the opportunity to partner with them once again to bring their ground-breaking work to the stage. Moulin Rouge! is a film begging to be theatricalized. I can think of no better creative collaborators than Alex Timbers and John Logan to realise this new musical.”

“We are also delighted to be partnering with Twentieth Century Fox and Moulin Rouge in this hugely exciting venture.”

Muriel’s Wedding was the tough nut to crack as it needed the licence to perform the music of Abba. After 18 months, Carmen Pavlovic signed the deal.

Over $200 million has been invested to date in Global Creatures productions.
