Two Australian acts, Kloke and Julien Love, both from Melbourne, have been selected to attend the Red Bull Music Academy in New York City.
62 acts were selected from thousands of entries to take part in the Red Bull Music Academy. Kloke is attending term 1 and Love term 2.
Melbourne based DJ Andy Donnelly is Kloke. The British born producer relocated to Australia. His first vinyl release is ‘Circuit Theory’.
Julien Love is also a Melbourne based DJ.
The Red Bull Music Academy features a five-week series of concerts, workshops and conversations with industry makers. This year’s lectures include talks from Brian Eno, Giorgio Moroder and James Murphy.
Participants include rising producers, vocalists, DJs and instrumentalists from 29 countries who head to New York Academy in Chelsea, Manhattan.
The Red Bull Music Academy has visited a different location every year since it began in 1998. The 15th edition of the Red Bull Music Academy kicked off in New York this week.
