Sydney duo Peasant Moon will head to North America to showcase for Canadian Music Week in May.
Peasant Moon is singer songwriter Harvey Russell and collaborator Josie Rothwell. The pair released their debut EP ‘Fading In The Light’ in 2015.
“It’s really rewarding to bring your songs to life in front of an appreciative audience and hopefully allow them to develop a connection with the material. One of the most things we’re looking forward to most about playing Canadian Music Week is sharing our music with a new bunch of people,” Harvey said in a statement.
Since forming Peasant Moon have become regulars on Sydney’s alt-Country circuit. Before heading to Canada Peasant Moon will perform at Gasoline Pony Marrickville on April 14 and 4 Pines Brewing Company in Sydney on April 16.
CMW Showcases:

Thursday, May 5th 11PM @ The Dakota Tavern
