Songland’s Records Midnight Oil poster auction has reached $2000 with five more days of the auction to go.

Brian ‘Frog’ Harris of Songland Records is auctioning the poster signed by Peter Garrett, Rob Hirst, Jim Moginie, Martin Rotsey and Bones Hillman to raise money for the RSPCA’s Weston shelter.

“I have been saving this poster since working at RCA Records in the early 1980’s and finally got the chance to have it autographed when the band played in Canberra earlier this year,” Frog said in a statement.

The poster measures 100cm x 150 cm.

“All proceeds from the auction will be used to help the animals at the Weston RSPCA shelter,” Frog says.

“The auction ties in with Songland’s famous instore sale of 1000’s of records, CDs, DVDs and cassette tapes, kindly donated by the general public, that also go towards helping the animals at the RSPCA.”

The Midnight Oil poster auction will end this Sunday at 4pm.
