Avril Lavigne Tells Mark Zuckerberg To Stop Bullying Husband’s Band Nickelback

by Paul Cashmere on December 24, 2016

in News

Popstar Avril Lavigne has chastised Facebook boss Mark Zuckerberg for picking on her estranged husband’s band Nickelback.

Lavigne and Nickelback singer Chad Kroeger are technically still married but separated in 2015 after two years of marriage.

Interestingly, Lavigne tweeted the message to the Facebook founder and her 20.5 million Twitter followers, she didn’t post the message on the Zuckerberg created Facebook and her 51.8 million followers there.

She wrote:

“Many people use your products – some people either love them and some people don’t. Either way, you’re allowed your musical opinion, however, your jab at Nickelback is in poor taste.

When you have a voice like yours, you may want to consider being more responsible with promoting bullying, especially given what’s going on in the world today”.

Zuckerberg made the tongue in cheek Nickelback comment in a video introducing his new product Jarvis.
