While teaming up B-52s and Simple Minds for A Day On The Green is a great idea adding Machinations and Models will make it a day to remember for a long, long time.

B-52’s and Simple Minds will perform for A Day On The Green across five states as well as play their own shows in Melbourne and Sydney.

The line-up will deliver an impressive number of hits. B-52’s were actually much bigger in Australia than the USA. ‘Rock Lobster’, ‘Planet Claire’ and ‘Private Idaho’ did not chart in America but were hits in Australia.

We have so many fantastic memories and can’t wait to be playing there again.”

I could go to a James Taylor show just for the stories. The man is a part of music history and is still around to tell the tales of how it all began. Like, for instance, being the first artist signed to Apple Records. James “auditioned” for Apple with his song ‘Something In The Way She Moves’. "Paul went away and started the label and George went away and wrote the song”, he said.
