Ball Park Music will release their second album ‘Museum’ exactly 13 months after the release of their debut ‘Happiness and Surrounding Suburbs’.
The Brisbane 5-piece achieved two songs in the Triple J Hottest 100 this year with ‘It’s Nice To Be Alive’ and ‘All I Want Is You’. Last year they were voted Unearthed Artist of the year’.
Ball Park Music debuted new music from ‘Museum’ with the single ‘Surrender’ last week.
According to EMI it was singer Sam Cromack who drove the urgency of a second album release. “Inspired by the swift turn around in which the likes of The Beatles would deliver new records every six to 12 months, frontman Sam Cromack issued his band of cohorts a challenge to release another album within the year of Happiness and Surrounding Suburbs,” the statement reads.
‘Museum’ will be released on October 5, 2012.
