Casting Crown, a band of Baptist Ministers, have knocked Adele from the number one spot on the US album chart this week.

Casting Crowns is the Grammy Award winning Christian Rock band featuring ministers from Eagles Landing First Baptist Church in Stockbridge, Georgia.
Hitsdailydouble.com has their ‘Come To The Well’ album clocking up 111,000 sales this week ahead of Adele ‘21’ with 106,000.
The first single from ‘Come To The Well’ was ‘Courageous’, released back in July. It reached number one on the Hot Christian Songs chart, No. 4 on the Hot Christian AC chart and No. 8 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart.
Casting Crowns was formed by Pastor Mark Hall in Florida in 1999 as part of a youth group. Their debut album ‘Lifesong’, released in 2005, debuted at no. 9 on the US album chart. It earned them their first Grammy in 2006.
‘Come To The Well’ is the 6th studio album for Casting Crowns.
Other debuts this week in the USA include Joe ‘The Good The Bad The Sexy’, Jane’s Addiction ‘Great Escape Artist’ and M83 ‘Hurry Up We’re Dreaming’.
