Barry Adamson – whose bass skills have been heard in The Bad Seeds and Magazine to name a few – has unfortunately had to cancel his appearances in Melbourne and Sydney next week.
Adamson was on a promo tour in the U.S. but had to fly home to the U.K. due to an “unforseen family emergency”.
The enigmatic musician was due to appear at Pure Pop in St. Kilda, Melbourne on both Monday and Tuesday (23 and 24 January) and The Factory Theatre in Sydney on Wednesday 25 January where he would perform a couple of songs acoustically and answer questions after a screening of his directorial debut, Therapist.
He was last in Australia in 2008 where he toured in support of his last album Back To The Cat. His first album since then (his tenth), I Will Set You Free will be in stores soon and we at Noise11 are pretty confident we’ll see a full band tour from Adamson in Australia soon.
