Barry Manilow will return to Broadway for a limited series of shows at the St. James Theatre with previews starting on January 18 and an opening night of January 24.
Manilow on Broadway will play until February 9.
His first show, Barry Manilow on Broadway, played from December 21, 1976 to January 2, 1977. He returned with Barry Manilow at the Gershwin from April 19 to June 10, 1989.
The show’s producers said “Manilow is returning to the place where it all began, his hometown, New York City, with a new concert series on Broadway — marking his return to The Great White Way for the first time in more than two decades.”
Manilow added “Growing up in New York, Broadway has always held a special place in my heart and I am honored to have the opportunity to make the St. James Theatre my home in the New Year.”
