Swedish trio Baskery will support Robbie Williams on his upcoming Australian and New Zealand dates.
Baskery are sisters Greta, Stella and Sunniva Bondesson. Baskery the band formed in Stockholm in 2007. Their style is described as “kill-billy”, “mud-country” and “banjo punk”. Comparisons have been made The Dixie Chicks.
Baskery are now LA based and released their 4th album ‘Little Wild Life’ in 2013. They have played on all of Robbie’s ‘Let Me Entertain You’ tour dates this year.
Robbie Williams has added a third show for Melbourne. “Melbourne has always been a strong market for Robbie, he’s got some wild fans in Victoria,” said promoter Michael Chugg. “Adding this extra show on a Saturday night is going to make for an incredible weekend! Maybe my Tasmanian family will even come up for the party!”
