Former homes of John Lennon and George Harrison are up for sale.
Lennon lived in the Surrey house between 1964 and 1968 and wrote most of his Beatles songs, including the Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band album, there.
John lived in the six-bedroom mansion with first wife Cynthia but sold the house in 1968 when they divorced. John paid £20,000 for the house in 1964. It is expected to sell for £15 million.
George’s house is a lot cheaper. The house at 3738 Laurel Canyon Drive in Studio City, California has three bedrooms and three bathrooms. It was built in 1941 and includes a lap pool, a pond and a full security system.
George sold the house to his friend Gavin de Becker. De Becker has the house on the market for $1.5 million.
