Former Silverchair drummer Ben Gillies has signed a deal with Golden Robot Records.

Golden Robot is the Sydney indie label also featuring Steve Kilbey, Moon, Mi-Sex, The Superjesus and Sarah McLeod.

Gilles is working on his long-awaited solo album. Ben had the band Tambalane with Wes Carr in 2003. Tambalane released an album in 2005. Ben also released his Bento album ‘Diamond Days’ in 2012.
