Ben Kweller has started his own record company.

Kweller’s The Noise Company is a new indie label based in Austin, Texas.
The first artist Ben Kweller has signed to the Ben Kweller record label is Ben Kweller. He will release his 5th album ‘Go Fly A Kite’ through his The Noise Company in February. (That sounds like a SXSW showcase waiting to happen to me).
The Noise Company has already done distribution deals around the world. In Australia, Shock Records will release titles through the label.
Kweller plans on being hands on with the label directly managing and promoting the releases.
Kweller turned 30-years old in June this year. Ben was 20 when he released his EP ‘Phone Home’. A year later his debut album ‘Sha Sha’ featuring ‘Wasted and Ready’ was released.
In 2003, Ben Kweller, Ben Lee and Ben Folds formed The Bens and toured Australia.
Kweller’s last album was ‘Changing Horses’ in 2009.
