Beyoncé is still reeling from her ‘magnificent night’ at the Super Bowl on Sunday.
The singer was the highlight of the American football event, belting out her track Crazy In Love when she came on the stage that was literally ablaze with pyrotechnics.
Later in her performance Beyoncé reunited with her Destiny’s Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, as had been expected.
Alicia Keys and Jennifer Hudson kicked off the sporting event that attracts an average annual audience of more than 110 million.
Beyoncé is overjoyed by how well everyone performed.
‘It really was a magnificent night for me and the girls. I felt like Alicia and Jennifer Hudson were so classy and beautiful. It was a great night to be a woman and an African-American woman,’ she gushed to Extra.
‘I’m feeling so proud, it was a really beautiful day and I’m very happy for [Baltimore Ravens athlete] Ray [Lewis]. All the hard work, five months of preparation and it was really great.’
Beyoncé performed with fireworks in the background and giant screens showing versions of herself dancing to her tracks in front of the 70,000 strong crowd.
Shortly after the show the singer announced her next world tour, the Mrs. Carter Show. The event will start in Belgrade on April 15 and end in Brooklyn, New York, on August 3.
At the Super Bowl, Baltimore Ravens were eventually triumphant over the San Francisco 49ers.
