Beyonce has picked up the award for Video of the Year at the Video Music Awards (VMAs) handed out in New York this weekend.
Beyonce was nominated for 11 awards in 2016 and won eight of the 17 awards. As well as Video of the Year she also won Best Female Video for ‘Hold Up’, Best Pop Video for ‘Formation’, Best Long Form Video for ‘Lemonade’, Best Choreography for ‘Formation’, Best Direction for ‘Formation’, Best Cinematography for ‘Formation’ and Best Editing for ‘Formation’.
