Beyoncé Knowles is set to hit the stage for the first time since becoming a mother.
The ‘Single Ladies’ singer has kept a low profile since welcoming daughter Blue Ivy into the world in January.
But it was announced today that she will perform this May (25th to 27th) to help launch the $2.4 billion Revel entertainment centre in Atlantic City.
Beyoncé will play three dates over America’s Memorial Day weekend in the new 5,050 state-of-the-art Ovation Hall in New Jersey.
The 30-year-old is said to be ready to get back to work and her name was recently linked to upcoming film One Hit Wonders which could also star her close friend Gwyneth Paltrow.
And producer Ryan Tedder revealed that the former Destiny’s Child frontwoman was also keen to start putting out some new music to follow up her 2011 album, 4.
“The conversations about her next album, literally just started and there are two projects happening,” he told MTV recently. “All I can say is, you kind of feed her the best that you have, and she’s this phenomenal filter and she takes it all in.”
Her rapper husband Jay-Z is also said to be in talks to secure a $150 million touring deal for his superstar wife.
“Just weeks after the birth of Blue Ivy, Jay met with Live Nation to discuss a tour for Beyoncé,” a source told New York Post. “He wanted a deal worth about $150million, but they countered with a lower offer.”
Beyoncé currently has a joint management deal with Jay’s label Roc Nation and Live Nation.
