The Big Day Out 2012 line-up is official with the reformed Soundgarden, Kanye West and Kasabian announced as the Top 3 headline acts.

This will be the third Big Day Out for Soundgarden who last played in 1997 and then went home and broke-up. They were also one of the mains act in 1994.
Kasabian are in Australia at the moment and will be joining noise11.com next week. It will also be their third Big Day Out. They played in 2007 and again in 2010.
Kanye West is a Big Day Out Virgin although he has played at the V Festival in Australia and has toured the country on his own tours on numerous occasions.
