Big Day Out Chad Smith Confirms Red Hot Chili Peppers

As we wait for the official Big Day Out announcement, Chad Smith from Red Hot Chili Peppers has confirmed the band will play the festival in January.

Responding to a fan on Twitter, Chad was asked if Red Hot Chili Peppers were “hitting BDO” Chad answered “Yeeeeessssssssssss”.

Noise11.com will bring you the official line-up for Big Day Out 2013 just after midnight tonight.

Lock in Yeah Yeah Yeahs as well and the rest of the line-up will be with you shortly.

The rumours were flying earlier this weekend with news of a leaked flyer but Noise11.com is fairly positive the leaked line-up featuring Green Day was fake.
