Big Day Out Is Twitter Top Tweet Of The Day

BDO2012 pretty much spend all of today as the top trending term on Twitter.

Not only was BDO2012 very popular, the Top 10 trends today also included Soundgarden, Big Day Out 2012 and Kanye West.

Big Day Out made their announcement roll-out last night via Twitter and Facebook which gave fans plenty of opportunity to discuss their likes and dislikes of each announcement.

At every turn of the story, fans had either a positive or negative opinion, but hey, that’s what make for an exciting Big Day Out.

When the three big ones were announced this morning, the debate once again raged as to the value of Kanye West, Soundgarden and Kasabian as headline acts.

The other big music announcement today was the Golden Plains festival. It too has been trending on Twitter all day, as have headline act Bon Iver.
