The Big Day Out have launched their free iPhone app for 2012 with some nifty new features.

Last year over 100,000 people downloaded the Big Day Out app, and the monster festival has done it again, with a pretty, sleek number to organize your curated line-up for the day, as well as link it to Twitter and Facebook so you can easily gloat to your friends stuck at home.
There’s links to a huge amount of info on each act, a BDO news feed, maps (which aren’t there quite yet but will be closer to the event), ticket-buying options, and a link to all the sideshows if a particular set tickles your fancy.
There are also new features: Schedule Sync, to post your custom schedule on social networks and see what your buddies are going to watch; a horizontal view version of the schedule; and a handy little weather widget in the top corner.
To get it, just head to the App Store and search Big Day Out, or get the link from the Big Day Out website.
There will also be an Android version of the app available from next Monday, January 9. Head to the BDO site for more info on that.
Tickets are still available for all the BDOs around the country.
