Big Star’s 1978 third and final album ‘Third’ is about to receive a massive 69 track make-over.
The new edition of the album will be covered over three discs. Disc One will feature Alex Chilton’s demos and rough mixes. Disc two is the rough, mixes and early demos including unreleased tracks and disc three is the final masters.
‘Third’ was recorded at Ardent Studios where over the years Led Zeppelin, Bob Dylan, ZZ Top, REM, James Taylor and Australia’s Guy Sebastian have recorded.
Big Star ‘Third’ will be reissued on 14 October 2016.
