Billie Joe Armstrong wants a list of “all the songs [he] has written” engraved on his tombstone.

The Green Day frontman has achieved great success with albums including American Idiot. Billie wants his song writing talents to be his legacy.
“Am I that fucking old already?” he quipped when asked what he would like to say on his tombstone. “Um… that’s a hard one. Maybe it should just be a list of all the songs that I’ve written.”
Billie Joe is famed for his energetic punk rock anthem Basket Case. The 40-year-old star has mused about playing the song well into his old age.
“80? That’s pretty fucking old!” he exclaimed in an interview with Kerrang! magazine.
“I don’t know. I’m just trying to live in the moment, because sometimes I can’t even believe I’m 40 and still doing this. But it’s still resonating in my life to this day.
“And Basket Case is one of those songs now… it’s stopped being mine. It belongs to all the people singing it in the audience now.”
