The ‘Billy Bragg Celebrates The Legacy Of Woody Guthrie’ show is a 100th birthday tribute to Woody Guthrie in song and words by Billy Bragg.
Bragg has recorded three albums of Woody Guthrie songs with Wilco. The song will feature songs from their Mermaid Avenue Sessions as well as unpublished songs from lost manuscripts and diaries of Woody Guthrie.
For fans who have missed the Melbourne Recital Centre show, Viv Lees Presents Billy Bragg at Hamer Hall on the ‘Ain’t Nobody That Can Sing Like Me’ tour on October 19.
