Billy Ray Cyrus To Tour Australia For First Time in 18 Years

Billy Ray Cyrus will be back in Australia in 2018 for his first tour in 18 years and 25 years to the day to when he first toured in March 1993.

“I love the fans there. They love their music, they love their football and they love the arts. It’s a great country with great people and we love coming down there and playing” said Billy Ray Cyrus, who will be hitting Australia almost 25 years to the day, after kicking off his world tour in Australia in March, 1993.

Cyrus will release his next album ‘Set The Record Straight’ before the tour. The album will feature ‘Stand’, a duet with his daughter Miley, appearances from Bryan Adams, Glenn Hughes and Joe Perry and guests George Jones and Loretta Lynn.

He has also recorded a new version of ‘Achy Breaky Heart’ in Spanglish to mark the song’s 25th anniversary.
