UK singer/songwriter Birdy will release her second album ‘Fire Within’ in September.
Birdy Lymington (Jasmine van den Bogaerde) rose to fame after winning the UK ‘Open Mic UK’ contest at the age of 12.
She released with her debut album ‘Birdy’ in 2011. It was a number one album in Australia, Belgium and The Netherlands. The album featured her version of Bon Iver’s ‘Skinny Love’, which gave her a Top 20 hit in the UK.
About ‘Fire Within’ Birdy says, “It’s been an incredible few years since I released my debut album back in 2011. I’ve been writing new songs and I’m so excited for people to hear them. They come straight from my heart.”
