SXSW slipped a quiet one into their speakers schedule. Bjorn Ulvaeus from Abba will be a guest speaker at the SXSW music conference in Austin, Texas this month.
Bjorn will appear for the ‘Creators Credits: Providing the Missing Links’ panel on 14 March from 3:30pm.
Bjorn is a co-owner of Auddly along with songwriter/producer Max Martin. The Swedish company “allows music creators to collect their song data and make it accessible for the business side, in order to secure transparent and correct credits and payments for everyone involved”.
Bjorn will be appearing at SXSW as a businessman, not one of the 20th centuries biggest pop stars.
SXSW kicks off today (March 8) in Austin, Texas and runs through until March 17.
