Melbourne rock bruisers Blacklevel Embassy reveal details of their third album and their Shellac support.
The trio have been fairly quiet for the last couple of years following the 2008 release of their noisy, brawny second album Asp.
They hit Sydney’s Megaphon Studios this year with ARIA Award-winning producer JonBoyRock to record a fresh new album titled New Veteran, which has been mastered by their old pal Bob Weston of Shellac in Chicago.
Ever-so-coincidentally, they’ve also scored the support slot for Shellac when they visit for their first Australian shows in almost two decades, playing at the Melbourne Festival on October 20 at the Hi-Fi.
And when is New Veteran going to be released? October 1 on OSCL/Battle Worldwide Recordings.
While you’re waiting, feast on ‘Middle Eastern Distributor’ from Asp below.
