Randy Newman may just cause World War II with his new song ‘Putin’.

Newman told the Washington Post that he finds The Russian leader both ‘disturbing’ and ‘amusing’. “A person with that much extraordinary amount of power, doing things like that is disturbing but also kind of amusing.”

The song is a one off and while Randy Newman has been performing the song for a few years. The song ‘Putin’ first surfaced at a Newman show in Belgium on 20 September, 2014. “I think that people will lose interest after this surfeit of political talk and attention after the election. And I’m just anxious to get something out. I hate having to wait. I’ve got the thing done. I just want to see what happens.”
