Beyonce and Jay-Z’s baby has become the youngest person ever to have a hit record.
On Monday Jay-Z released his new song ‘Glory’ featuring new-born daughter Blue Ivy recorded just seconds after she was born. It will enter the Billboard chart this week at no. 74.
Blue Ivy is heard crying at the end of the song. Jay-Z recorded her first sounds and captured her breathing, cries and coos.
The lyrics go, “The most amazing feeling I feel/Words can’t describe what I’m feeling for real/ Maybe I paint the sky blue/My greatest creation was you. You. Glory.”
Stevie Wonder also captured his daughter Aisha’s early sounds and used them on his song ‘Isn’t She Lovely’. However, according to Billboard Wonder did not credit his daughter (as Jay-Z) did and the Wonder song was released two years after Aisha was born, not within days.
The Jay-Z song was released 48 hours after she was born, something Wonder could not have done back in the 70s when ‘Isn’t She Lovely’ was released.
