Bluey Won A Logie Which Makes Custard’s David McCormack A Logie Winner

Break out the Custard, David McCormack is a Logie winner. The Custard frontman is the voice of bandit, Bluey’s dad in the Brisbane made kids animated series.

Bluey won the Logie for Most Outstanding Children’s Program.

Bluey was commissioned for ABC Kids and premiered on 1 October 2018. It is produced by Queensland production company Ludo Studio for the ABC.

Bluey is set to make McCormick an international star. The series has been picked up by the BBC’s CBeebies in the UK and Disney’s Disney Junior and Disney+ internationally.

Bluey’s other stars include Aunt Trixie Heeler, voiced by Myf Warhurst and Calypso, voiced by Megan Washington.

Custard had an 11 year run from 1989 and then reformed in 2009. Their most recent album ‘The Common Touch’ was released in 2017 on ABC Music.
