In their 21st, and probably final, year, Britpop legends Blur announce a mammoth reissue campaign and box set.
Consequence Of Sound report that that band will re-release expanded deluxe versions of each of their seven albums on June 30.
Added to that, there’ll be a 21-disc super deluxe box set, alongside the double-CD editions of each album, as well as a heavyweight vinyl box set.
The box set of CDs will contain 65 previously unreleased songs, alternate takes, live versions and demos. There are two live, twenty-song sets on two DVDs – a show at Alexandra Palace in 1994 and one at Wembley in 1999. And there’s a final DVD of promo videos, studio performances, and TV appearances.
All this, plus a 7-inch single and a deluxe hardcover book. It’s a monster.
