Blur To Release 1995 Japanese Concert

Blur fans will soon be treated to a 1995 concert by the band filmed in Japan.

Live at the Budokan is a recording of a November 8, 1995 show that had previously only be available in Japan and brought a fairly steep price in the band’s own country. The new edition has been remastered by Frank Arkwright at London’s Abbey Road.

Interestingly, two songs that were performed that evening and didn’t make the Japanese edition, Charmless Man and Chemical World, have not been included on this new version of the album. They were released as a single in Japan in 1996. Another song, She’s So High, was actually recorded during a performance at NHK Hall in Tokyo from November 9 of the same year.
