Bob Dylan made more changes for the last show of his Australian and New Zealand tour.

Dylan’s setlist is fairly stable from night to night but a number of songs varied on some nights of the tour.

New Zealand was gifted two first timers for the tour, ‘Like A Rolling Stone’ performed for the first time in two years but also ‘It Takes A Lot To Laugh, It Takes A Train To Cry’ which Dylan had not performed since 2005.

Both songs were from the 1965 classic ‘Highway 61 Revisited’. Together with the title track and ‘Ballad of a Thin Man’ he became Dylan’s most popular album after ‘Tempest’ on the tour.

Bob Dylan will head back to the USA for the next leg of the Never Ending Tour. His next show is 4 October 2018 in Phoenix, Arizona.

Dylan has been on the Never Ending Tour since 1988. The first show was 7 June, 1988 in Concord, California. Bob played 71 concerts on the first year of the tour

Bob Dylan has performed 2945 shows since 1988 on the Never Ending Tour. By the end of 2018 he will have performed 2979 shows.

Dylan’s final show for 2018 will be in Waterbury, Connecticut on 20 November.
