Bob Dylan has christened his new studio album ‘Tempest’ and it will be released in September.
‘Tempest’ will feature 10 new original Bob Dylan songs and marks the 50th anniversary of his debut album released on Columbia n 1962. The album is expected to contain a 14 minute epic about the Titanic.
‘Tempest’ is Dylan’s 35th album and is the follow-up to 2009’s ‘Together Through Life’.
The past decade has seen Bob Dylan release some of his most creative work. The ‘Modern Times’ album released in 2006 became one of his biggest albums ever and earned him two Grammy Awards. ‘Together Through Life’ was his first album ever to debut at no. 1 in America.
This year, Bob Dylan received the Presidential Medal of Freedom from President Obama.
‘Tempest’ will be released on September 7, 2012 in Australia.
