Rock legend Bob Seger is about to release his first studio album in 11 years and only 4th album in 20 years.
The long awaited ‘Face The Promise’ album will be released by Capitol Records and has been much talked about for more than a year in Seger online forums.
The first hint of the album is the track ‘Wait For Me’ which has been distributed digitally to radio stations across the USA this week.
The uptempo track is described as typical Seger rocker in his classic vein.
‘Face The Promise’ will be released on September 12th.
Seger has sold more than 50 million albums during his career. He has had 11 platinum and 7 multiplatinum awards, including the albums ‘Against The Wind’, ‘Night Moves’ and ‘Stranger In Town’ which have sold more than 5 million copies each.
His 1994 Greatest Hits record sold over 7 million copies in the USA.
Bob Seger’s classic hits include ‘Old Time Rock and Roll’, ‘Night Moves’, ‘Still The Same’ and ‘Katmandu’.
