Bon Jovi will return to Australian stadiums in March 2027 as part of the Forever Tour, with shows confirmed for Melbourne and Sydney. The dates mark the band’s first Australian performances since their 2018 stadium run, which drew more than 159,000 fans across the country.

The announcement comes after the band launched the Forever Tour in July 2026 with a nine-show residency at New York’s Madison Square Garden, followed by sold-out stadium dates including three nights at London’s Wembley Stadium plus shows in Edinburgh and Dublin.

Jon Bon Jovi described the early leg of the tour as a celebration of the music and the long-standing connection with audiences. “The Forever Tour has been an incredible celebration of the music and the fans who have been with us all these years,” he said.

“From Madison Square Garden to Scotland, Ireland, and England, the energy and joy we shared with our fans this summer was something truly special. To look out and see thousands of faces singing along with us, night after night, is something we’ll never take for granted. We’re grateful for every one of you, and now we’re taking that celebration around the world in 2027, with more cities, more countries, and a whole lot more nights to remember. We can’t wait to see you out there!”

The Forever Tour supports the band’s most recent studio work. Last year Bon Jovi released Forever (Legendary Edition), a collaboration project that reimagined songs from the Forever album with guests including Bruce Springsteen, Lainey Wilson, Jelly Roll, Jason Isbell, Carin Leon, Joe Elliott, Robbie Williams and Avril Lavigne.

Formed in Sayreville, New Jersey in 1983, Bon Jovi built their reputation through the mid-to-late 1980s with albums that delivered a string of major singles. Slippery When Wet in 1986 and New Jersey in 1988 established the band as a stadium act, producing multiple number-one hits and setting the template for their live shows. Subsequent decades brought further commercial success, a shift toward more mature songwriting on records such as Keep the Faith and These Days, and a notable crossover with country audiences through the Have a Nice Day and Lost Highway period. The band has sold more than 130 million albums worldwide, performed thousands of concerts across more than 50 countries, and been inducted into both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame.

The current lineup features Jon Bon Jovi on vocals and guitar, David Bryan on keyboards, Tico Torres on drums, Hugh McDonald on bass, Phil X on lead guitar, with additional contributions from percussionist Everett Bradley and guitarist John Shanks. Original members Alec John Such and Richie Sambora departed in earlier years, with Such’s death announced in 2022.

Australian audiences last saw the band on the 2018 stadium tour. The 2027 shows represent a return after that eight-year gap and follow the positive response the Forever Tour has received in the United States and United Kingdom.

General public tickets go on sale at 12pm Sydney / 1pm Melbourne on Friday 23 October.

Dates:

Thursday 4 March 2027, Melbourne, Marvel Stadium
Thursday 11 March 2027, Sydney, Accor Stadium
