Boz Scaggs next album ‘A Fool To Care; will feature collaborations with Bonnie Raitt and Lucinda Williams.
‘A Fool To Care’ will be the follow-up to Scaggs’ 2013 release ‘Memphis’ recorded in the Tennessee town. This time Boz Scaggs has ventured across Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma to capture the sounds of ‘A Fool To Care’.
‘A Fool To Care’ was recorded over a four day period at Blackbird Studio in Nashville, where Bob Dylan, Dave Stewart, Stevie Nicks and John Mayer have all created music over the years.
Bonnie Raitt will be heard contributing vocals on the song ‘Hell To Pay’ while Lucinda Williams sings for ‘Whispering Pines’.
Ray Parker Jr (Ghostbusters) is the featured guitarist throughout the album in a band featuring Willie Weeks (bass), Jim Cox (keyboard) and Steve Jordan (drums).
