‘The Desired Effect’ was recorded across 2014 and earlier this year at the Battle Born Studios, the studio built by The Killers in Winchester, Nevada. Artists who have recorded at the studio include Motley Crue, Elton John and Imagine Dragons.
‘The Desired Effect’ was produced by Ariel Rechtshaid (Kylie Minogue, Beyonce, Charli XCX) indicating Flowers is taking a pop approach with his new album.
Flowers first solo album ‘Flamingo’ was released in 2010. The Killers have released four albums, most recently ‘Battle Born’ in 2012.
Brandon Flowers ‘The Desired Effect’ will be released on May 18, 2015.
